Campaign Solutions with a Global Reach
Forum client Harley-Davidson recently put our global manufacturing and logistics capabilities to the test with an order to produce 350 POS display units and associated graphics for Harley dealerships across the Asia Pacific region.
With established global supplier relationships in manufacturing and extensive experience of managing complex global distribution, Forum Print Management are well placed to deliver, but with the added twist of a complex variety of graphics to be packed with the units, one of the biggest challenges was ensuring that each dealer received the correct pack!
Forum flew out to the Far East to oversee the entire project – the hardware was designed in the UK but manufactured in China, however the graphics were manufactured in the UK and shipped out for packing in China. The result is a high quality product that is robust, corporate and mobile, with interchangeable campaign messages.
Quality Control is paramount for this kind of project and being on the ground was essential to make sure it went off without a hitch – complex packing coupled with distribution of 350 units, each the size of a single bed and weighing 50 kilos presents some logistical challenges!
Result: Drawing on our network of freight partners, the complete packs were distributed across the entire Asia Pacific region – from China and Japan in the North, through India, Thailand and Singapore to Australia and New Zealand in the South. The careful co-ordination of sea freight containers, road and air transport ensured that the Harley dealers received their display units on time.
Forum maintained total project management from the UK and Singapore.
Whether manufactured in India, China or the UK, our products stand the test of time as they are rigorously tested and as well as meeting the highest of quality standards, they must adhere to your brand guidelines too. We will make sure of that!
